In the coming weeks, we will be preparing a speciality of young lamb for you.

Our lamb is 100% local, from the islands of Pag (Novalja), Cres and Rab!

How does local island lamb differ from all other domestic or imported ones:

  1. SMELL - the pasture is different, the grass and island herbs that graze give it a specific mild aromatic smell
  2. TASTE - the bura wind spreads salt on the grass and aromatic herbs, and the taste becomes specific and special thanks to that saltiness
  3. SIZE - the islanders do not recognize lamb as lamb if it exceeds 10 kg, anything over that is sheep and not lamb.

You can enjoy lamb prepared:

  • under the bell (peka/cripnja),
  • braised in a pot,
  • on the skewer,
  • on the Kamado grill and
  • specialty for connoisseurs: lamb tripe
