Ten years — one cat, countless memories.
Our story began in Novigrad, by the sea, with our first guests who shared with us the flavors and aromas of Istria.
Today, it continues in Malinska on the island of Krk, where our kitchen is built on Kvarner specialties and authentic traditional recipes — creating a new chapter filled with encounters, smiles, and stories that endure.
Gatto Nero was founded by Marinko and Zvjezdana, with the idea that cooking could be more than food — that it could be a meeting, a story, and an emotion that stays in memory.
Together with Tanja and Siki, we continue the story of Gatto Nero, a place where the flavors and aromas of the sea and the island turn into a unique experience.
